On the 7th, 7 fires consecutive fires broke out in Aomori Prefecture. This was also when a dry weather warning was issued for the entire prefecture of Aomori during the day.
According to the fire department, from around 10 PM to 3 PM on the 7th, people were burning tree branches and such in fields in Hirosaki and Kuroishi City. The grass also caught on fire, which led to the flame spreading to surrounding areas, resulting in 7 consecutive fires.
At roughly 11 AM, one person was found dead in the ruins of the fire at Kuroishi City. The total burnt area was around 30 square meters.
The police are under investigation to confirm the identity of those involved and the detailed circumstances of the cases.
The fire department is urging citizens to be more careful as the air is dry and fires are more likely to occur.
