1. Shibuya Blue Cave 

Event period: 08/12~25/12

The location is famous for its impressive and unique blue illumination. The entire system has more than 600.000 blue LED lights decorated from Shibuya Koen-Dori to Yoyogi park. This year, there is also a huge Christmas Card on display at Keyaki Namiki of Yoyogi park.

2. Tokyo Midtown

Event period: 17/11~25/12

Address: 9-7-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo

More than 300 lights are decorated in Tokyo Midtown to create a huge, illuminating dome. A concert with glittering lights will be held outdoors, adding to the festivity of the holiday. The Christmas tree in Midtown Garden is also an interesting location to visit, as there will be a cracker-themed Christmas Party held there. 

3. Yomiuri Land

Event period: 03/12~25/12

Address: 4015-1 Yanokuchi, Inagi-shi, Tokyo

Yomiuri Land is definitely one of the perfect locations to spend Christmas with family and friends, in which the park is illuminated with lights in all sorts of colors. Coming here, you will also get to participate in a variety of activities, such as dancing or the Santa Claus show. 

4. Marunouchi Tokyo Street

Event location: 01/12~25/12

Address: Marunouchi Nakadori, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo

The Christmas festival will be held from the Marunouchi Building to Marunouchi park. The Marunouchi Tokyo street will be illuminated with countless lights, giving the location a magical vibe that is sure to impress all visitors. 

5. Tokyo German Village

Event period: 28/10~19/01

Location: 419 Nagayoshi, Sodegaura city, Chiba prefecture

Tokyo German Village welcomes a large influx of visitors yearly, especially during its large-scale illumination event during winter. Along with Ashikaga flower park and Enoshima, the location is considered to be one of the three main illumination events of the Kanto region. 

6. Laguna Ten Bosch

Event period: 12/11~09/01

Address: 443-0014 2-3-1 Kaiyo Cho, Gamagori city, Aichi prefecture (〒443-0014 Aichi, Gamagori, Kaiyo Cho, 2 Chome−3−1)

Set in Lagunasia's Christmas tree "Joia Mare no Hamabe", the Christmas festival here will be an interesting event where guests can participate in lighting the lights with the characters. The winter-only version with Japan's first 360° 3D map - a winter fairytale-like mapping program is definitely a must-try experience!
