1. Osaka Castle Park 


Located in the heart of Osaka, Osaka Castle Park is one of the most famous parks in the city. The park covers an area of approximately 105.6 hectares and is well-known for having the perfect view of Osaka Castle. When coming here, you definitely should not miss out on the Nishino Garden. Located in the Southeast corner of Nagai Park, Nagai Botanical Garden is the perfect location for those looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and get away from the bustle anf bustle of everyday life. It is home to over 1200 plant species and various wild birds. The park also has over 200 varieties of roses, which are in full bloom during spring, offering breathtakingly beautiful scenery that will definitely blow your mind away.

3. Expo '70 Commemorative Park


When it comes to parks in Osaka, the Expo '70 Commemorative Park is one that you definitely cannot fail to mention. This is one of the most well-known parks in Osaka with one of its most famous attractions being the Tower of the Sun (or taiyou no Tou in Japanese). The park has a plethora of different facilities offering numerous recreational and sports activities for visitors to experience. Additionally, you can also stroll around and enjoy various types of flowers, such as tulips, azaleas, irises, and many more.

4. Settsukyo Park

Settsukyo Park is the perfect location for those who want to experience the full splendor of nature. There is also a hiking course for those who want to get to the top of the mountain.  The park is covered in a blanket of pink cherry blossom during spring, bright shades of red and orange during the autumn foliage, and glowy with fireflies on summer nights. Thus, it is a perfect location to visit whole year round, no matter the season.

5. Hirakata Park 

Hirakata is the perfect location for those wanting to immerse themselves in the beautiful nature of spring and also spend quality with families and friends. The park also offers a wide variety of attractions for you to explore, among which the giant Ferris wheel - Skywalker, is the most popular. Reaching over 80 meters high, the ride will give you a panoramic view of the entire park.
