The police have arrested four people, including a 45-year-old gang leader on suspicion of dumping the body of a 55-year-old man in the forest in Ogano-machi, Saitama Prefecture.
The man was reported to have been missing since September of this year after being abducted in a parking lot in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture. The police have arrested a total of 16 people who were believed to have been involved in the abduction during their investigation of the man’s whereabouts.
On the 15th, they found the body of a man buried in the mountains in Ogano-machi.
According to the investigation, some of the suspects are believed to have been in conflict with the man over the repayment of debt.
The police are continuing to carry out further investigations.
