Workman co. declares to maintain prices until the end of August 2023

WORKMAN CO. DECLARES TO MAINTAIN PRICES UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST 2023

Workman Co. recently declared to extend its “price maintenance declaration” announced in February earlier this year, keeping the prices of its Private Brand products unchanged until August 2023.

Amidst increasing prices of goods, material prices, transportation fees, and the weakening yen; the company is still able to maintain its prices due to: “standardization of materials," "off-season production," "increase in production per product," and "accumulation of small cost reductions."

In particular, regarding the standardization of materials, the company is aiming to promote the use of “FUSION DOWN” - a high-functional material that is used in clothing, to be used for making camping gears and lower manufacturing costs by increasing the production volume of each material.

Additionally, in case of an extreme depreciation of the yen or a sharp rise in obtaining raw material and transportation costs, the company will have no other choice but to increase product prices.
