SHEIN, a Chinese fashion retailer popular mainly among teenagers and people in their 20s, has opened a showroom-type shop that does not sell products on the spot.
A queue of people waited in front of the shop in Harajuku, Tokyo, for its opening at 11 am on 13 November.
The man said: "I got in line [before the shop opened] because it was streaming on TikTok."
The Female said: "It's nice to be able to see the wrong size and texture before I buy."
The shop has a range of low-priced fashion items and other items starting at ¥77, as well as a fitting room where customers can take photos and post them on social networking sites.
The items are not sold in the shop but you can purchase from the website or app by scanning the QR code on the tag.
SHEIN, a fashion brand born in China and headquartered in Singapore, is present in more than 150 countries and territories worldwide and is rapidly increasing sales thanks to its trend-setting, affordable prices.
